Privacy Policy
Overview
ICACON 2026 Companion is a free event information app for the ICACON 2026 conference in Aligarh. Core content works offline and the app does not require users to create an account.
Data we collect
We do not collect personal data.
- No account or profile
- No analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs
- No third-party tracking across apps or websites
- No sale of data
- The app does not phone home; conference content is bundled on device
Information on your device
- Conference programme text, contacts, and PDF documents are bundled inside the app for offline use.
- Opening a PDF may use your device’s share sheet or a PDF viewer you already have installed.
External services
If you choose to open:
- the official website,
- online registration,
- Google Maps / Maps directions, or
- other links listed in the app,
those pages or apps are provided by third parties (for example icaconaligarh.com, the registration provider, or Google Maps). Their privacy policies apply when you visit them. The app only opens those links when you tap them and when a network connection is available. The app does not track your location in the background.
Phone and email
Tapping a phone number or email address hands off to your device’s Phone or Mail app. We do not process those communications.
Children’s privacy
The app is a professional conference companion and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy if the app’s behaviour changes (for example if analytics are added in a future version). The “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
